'Big Brother': Jordan says 'Rachel deserves to win' by Lynette Rice Alas, poor Jordan Lloyd: The 24-year-old winner of Big Brother 11 couldn’t pull off another triumph for her beloved Jeff Schroeder. That’s the only reason the North Carolina belle agreed to do the 13th season; otherwise she would have stayed home and watched other people spar and self-destruct on national TV. “It’s really hard. It’s mentally draining in there,” Lloyd admitted to EW. “I did this for Jeff. I had already done it! I wanted to go to school! I really did think Jeff would go far and that maybe I would go out before him. But I could help him try to win the money.” It didn’t help that Lloyd was pretty weak in the challenges. She only won one Head of Household competition, mostly because her boyfriend Schroeder made it happen. (She also won the luxury competition with David Hasselhoff. Yey?) Lloyd can’t figure out why she didn’t triumph in more. “I don’t know. I’m not a competitor. I’m really not. The only reason why I made it so far was because I’m a great social player. That’s why me and Rachel [Reilly] work so well together. She’s a great competitor. They didn’t trust her so I did all the talking.” As for her latest partner-in-crime, Reilly may have rubbed other players the wrong way but Lloyd admitted that she bonded with the fiery redhead. “I know she said when she came back this time she wanted to change the way she looked from her season. I know she was a little feisty in the beginning, but after Brendon left, I think [viewers] began to love her. I think she wasn’t being so outspoken. She was kind of being herself, a great game player. People should like her.” That’s why she thinks Reilly — not Porsche Briggs — should win if the two make it to the finals. “Rachel told me her goodbye messages were kind of mean, so I hope people don’t use that against her,” Lloyd said. “I hope people look at how she played the game. She really did a great job. For 50 days, all Porsche did was bake cookies and lay out in the sun. She never talked game. She was very hard to talk to, just different. I could not read that girl for anything. She doesn’t show any emotions.” Lloyd, in contrast, showed a whole spectrum of feelings when she realized that Shelly Moore flipped on the veterans’ alliance and pushed to save Daniele Donato. In a rare display of rage, Lloyd let her have it. “I don’t regret it,” she admitted. “I was so mad because she was somebody I felt like I trusted 100 percent. Afterwards, though, I was kind of embarrassed. I didn’t want my mom to be embarrassed. I didn’t want to look like this crazy person. I don’t go off on people. But that was the worst day ever and I flipped out.” But hey — Lloyd has one thing to be proud about: She maintained her weight! “During my season I gained 15, 17 pounds. When I got out, none of my clothes fit!” Lloyd recalled. “All I did was eat. It’s easy to eat. This time, Rachel and I worked out every single day. A couple of times after working out hard, I did eat some chocolate. But I tried to stay away from the cookie dough.”

The Confession Room Blog Interview With Evicted Houseguest Jordan Lloyd Jordan Lloyd came into the Big Brother house as not only America's Sweetheart, but the winner of Big Brother 11. Right off the bat, her and Jeff were perceived as threats by the house because they knew the game and were well liked. Jordan was able to befriend everyone in the house, but lost her cool on her closest ally, Shelly when she voted out Jeff during the double eviction. After that, Jordan and Rachel, dubbed "Jorchal", managed to make it to the final four. But after losing several HoH competitions, Jordan just couldn't hold on any longer and was evicted by Porsche, allowing Jordan to spend an entire week in the jury house with her love, Jeff. Jordan, along with the other jury members will return on Wednesday Sept 14 at 9.30 to help choose the winner of Big Brother 13. Jordan, how did your strategy differ this year from two years ago when you won Big Brother 11. I didn’t do anything different – I did the exact same thing and played the exact same way as I did last year. Do you think you had better game and more confidence this time around? Last time, I didn’t know what I was doing. This time, I was more aware of things so I guess I knew more of what was going on and was smarter about everything. Yeah, I did feel like I had more confidence. During your time in power with the vets, many people tried to sway you to go against Brendon and Rachel. Did you have a final four deal with them and would you have stayed true to that deal? All of us (vets) planned to stay together, but when Dani broke off and it changed things. So Brendon, Rachel, Jeff and I were planning to work together. Then all of these liars and manipulators told Jeff and I that Brendon and Rachel were coming after us, and they thought the same about us. If none of us had drank Dani’s Kool-aide we would have stuck together all along. Can you tell us what it was like the night that Jeff left? Can you ever forgive Shelly for what she did? The night Jeff left was the absolute worst. I was not prepared for it and I was so mad at myself for losing the before and after competition, and I blamed myself. I do forgive Shelly but I don’t forget what she did. Was it ever an option to work with Dani after the dust had settled on her plan to backdoor Jeff, or did she lose your trust completely? I never trusted her after that. Did you and Rachel get close during your time in the house without Brendon and Jeff? And will you be continuing your friendship with her? Yeah, we were kind of close before but got closer after the guys were out. We teamed up and she named our alliance “Jorchal.” Yes, we will be friends. How did you and Adam become close friends? It just progressed. He was in our alliance the second week and I started trusting him more, especially after Shelly left. He is such a nice guy. I really, really like Adam. What are your plans after you leave the game? Will you and Jeff be moving in together soon? We have got to talk, and we will figure it out. We don’t know, we just need to talk about it. Can we expect to see you and Jeff on anymore reality shows? Probably not. When you first came into the house, what were your thoughts on seeing Brendon/Rachel, Dani/Evel Dick as the other vets that had come back? When I first saw Brendon and Rachel, I was like “oh no! not Rachel!” but then I got to know her and I love her. I think she is a great girl. Dani and Dick – I hadn’t watched their season – so I just thought “Oh, we have Dick, this will be exciting because he starts trouble and it will be fun to have him in the house.” I had met Dani once before and thought she was sweet and would be a friend to hang out with in the house.
- Yakkity Yaks Interview with Jordan
The Yak had the opportunity to chat with Jordan Lloyd from Big Brother this morning, after her eviction from the Big Brother 13 House last night! Keep reading to see what she had to say! The Yak: We have a lot of fans of yours over here at YakkityYaks! We fans can see what a pressure cooker the Big Brother House truly is, but we never had the chance to experience it of course. Can you tell us, first hand, how it feels to be trapped in the house with mostly strangers, and how stressful it really is? Jordan: The worst part is just tension building in the house. You are limited as to where you can go and when you are upset, you want to leave and you just feel stuck and you can’t get out. If you want to do Big Brother you have to be someone who can hold your emotions together or you will go crazy. The Yak from Forum Member SassyGal: What was the best part of returning to the BB house? Jordan: Just being able to play again with Jeff and meeting new people and making friends. The Yak from Forum Member SassyGal: How has your opinion of Rachel & Brendon changed from when you guest hosted for the BB12 veto comp? Jordan: Brendon – I did not know how funny he was and how laid back he is. Rachel can be crazy at times but she is a sweet heart and is a lot of fun to be around. The Yak from Forum Member CR: Do you think Jeff will propose to you soon, maybe on finale night? Jordan: For finale night – No way! Haha. The Yak from Forum Members Hapyhouswf & Grandmamichelf: Do you regret coming back this season, if so why or if not, why not? Jordan: Not at all. The Yak from Forum Member juliec32: Has the game changed much since you and Jeff been on it 2 years ago? Jordan: No, its exactly the same. The Yak: What was the best thing about returning to the Big Brother House? Other than eviction, what was the worst thing about returning? Jordan: The best part would be knowing that I had Jeff with me. The worst part is all the drama and tension in the house. The Yak: Will you remain friends with Shelly outside the house? Will you pursue working with her? Jordan: Yes, we will remain friends. And no, I am not trying to get a job with her. The Yak: If you could start this season over again, what would you do differently? Jordan: No, I wouldn’t do anything differently. The Yak from Forum Member KaysarRocks: If you had stayed and won HoH, who would you have taken to the final two and why? Jordan: Rachel, I couldn’t evict someone who had been with me from the beginning. Thank you Jordan! You are most loved over at YakkityYaks! Our fans are hoping to see you soon!

'Big Brother 13's' Jordan: 'In the beginning, it was just for fun' By Andrea Reiher September 9, 2011 Why did you want to do "Big Brother" again? "Jeff wanted to come back and try to win again, and since we had been doing long distance it was a good opportunity to spend some time together. We thought it would be fun to try to win again and get to see each other all summer." Were you less driven to win this time around since you had already won? Was it more for fun/Jeff winning? "You come in there, and you don't expect to win again so I kept telling myself if I make it to the final 5, maybe I would have a chance. But I didn't think I would win again. In the beginning, it was just for fun. But when Jeff left, it was suddenly like I had to win and I was trying to be more serious." Who do you hope to see in the finals? "I am hoping its Rachel and Adam just because they were in my alliance and I would love to see them win." Are you interested in repairing your relationship with Shelly? "We already did... whatever happened in the Big Brother house stays in the Big Brother house, so all of that has been squashed." Any messages to your fans? "Thanks for supporting me and for watching. I hope I entertained ya'll enough!"

- Jokers Interview with Jordan
Jokers Updates Exclusive Interview with Jordan Lloyd Jordan Lloyd, Elizabeth Bennet and Gracie Allen All Say Goodnight By BestBBEver, September 09, 2011 There were at least a hundred questions we would have liked to ask Jordan if we had the time but we are happy and delighted with the time we did get and the answers she gave us: JokersUpdates.com: You told Julie that you were a fool for being so trusting of Shelly but you turned around and put almost the same amount of trust in Adam, do you think that was wise in terms of getting closer to winning the money? Jordan: Adam, I felt, was more honest and seemed to keep his word. And, I got to be a lot closer with him. I genuinely like Adam and I knew he would take me to the final 2. JokersUpdates.com: Of all of the houseguests this year, who do you think you will keep in touch with and why? Jordan: I think I would like to keep in touch with everyone from this season. I really liked everyone. JokersUpdates.com: It seemed like Big Brother season 13 was harder for you than season 11, do you know why you stayed so stressed this season and did you feel as if you and Jeff came into the house with big targets on your back from day one? Jordan: I know we came into the house with big targets on our back. It was harder because season 11 I didn’t know what I was doing and was more go with the flow. This season I knew much more about Big Brother since I played before and it was hard because I was more serious about it than I was last time. JokersUpdates.com: As much as you want to share with us, what is the real reason that you decided to do Big Brother 13? Jordan: Jeff wanted to come back and try to win again, and since we had been doing long distance it was a good opportunity to spend some time together. We thought it would be fun to try to win again and get to see each other all summer. JokersUpdates.com: The last day that you were in the house, it seemed like it would be a fairly easy argument to convince Porsche to keep you since Rachel is a monster at endurance comps & this year you have been in a slump, so why didn't you try? It was killing me that you didn't even try. I know you care about Rachel but you had as much right to try to win the money and be in the Final 2 as anyone else, why didn't you fight harder to get Porsche to keep you? Jordan: I knew there was no convincing Porsche and that she would be sending me out of the house. JokersUpdates.com: You have been a fun Big Brother houseguest to watch and root for or even boo, for some of your non-fans, but what is next in your life for yourself, your Mother and Peyton and of course, with Jeff? As much as you would like to share because we would really like to know............ Jordan: Maybe marriage, soon enough. And just back to work and school. JokersUpdates.com: Securing a home for your Mother, yourself and your brother, Peyton, seems to have put you in a much happier place. Could you tell us what it means to you to have the security of a home you love, again? Jordan: It’s the best feeling in the world to know that you took care of your family and that you don’t have to worry about them. JokersUpdates.com: It seemed like you were always having to explain Jeff to your fellow houseguests this year, the way he talks to you, the way he talks to others. I grew up with a lot of loud Catholic brothers, so I "get" Jeff but why do you think other people have such a hard time understanding his subtle kindnesses, motives and sense of humor? Jordan: I think a lot of people were intimidated by him and they didn’t get his humor. Because he has a stern voice and speaks louder (they think) he is being mean, but that is just Jeff. JokersUpdates.com: Finally, from your experience Jordan, what do you think was the good, the bad and the ugly of your Big Brother 13 season, this summer? Jordan: The good – coming back and playing the game with Jeff. The bad – being evicted. The ugly – the feud with Shelly. Thank you again Jordan, for taking the time to answer our questions and for taking the time to play Big Brother once again!
- Digital Spy with Jordan
Having already won the show's 11th season, it seemed that Jordan Lloyd didn't have much left to prove upon entering the Big Brother house for its 13th cycle. Teaming up early with fellow former contestant and current boyfriend Jeff Schroeder, the 25-year-old was part of the veteran alliance which slowly dwindled as weeks passed. Despite holding out as one of the final two returning players in the game, her time came to an end during Thursday night's live eviction show and she was sent home, taking fourth place in the competition. Here's what Jordan told Digital Spy about her second time in the competition. You really seemed to have come to terms with leaving the house. Did having won the competition previously sort of lighten the blow of losing this close to the end? "Yeah, I mean I am disappointed because I did want to make it to the Top 3 to prove I could do it again. But it wouldn't have felt right if Rachel had left before me because I feel that I would have been benefiting from Rachel's work that she had done to keep us there. Plus, Rachel was closer to Porsche and I wasn't." Rachel mentioned wanting to remain friends outside the house. Can you see that happening or was your friendship more opportunistic because of your alliance? "No, we will be friends outside the house." Why do you think you struggled so much to win competitions? "In the beginning, I didn't really need to win. I was safer. But when I needed to win, like with the questions, I would get so close and then lose. It just wasn't in the cards for me this year." How difficult was it to continue to keep your head and heart in the game after Jeff left? "It was hard, but once he left, it was like, 'OK, I've done this before. I don't need to give up, I just need to pick my head up and do what I did last time'. And it helped that I had Rachel there with me." What do you plan to do after the game is completely over? You mentioned on the show wanting to try a different job. "I'm going back to the salon and I've got to go to school. The salon works with my school schedule, they are really good to me." Do you have any regrets in the game? Is there anything you wish you would have done differently? "Nope, no regrets." The veteran alliance started out so strong. Where do you think it went wrong and do you think there was a chance that all vets could have actually made it to the end? "It went wrong whenever Dani tried to backdoor Jeff, then it went downhill from there. But, if the vets did stick together we would have wiped the entire house and it would be all vets in the end, for sure." You mentioned in your exit interview that you think Rachel is the best player. Who else's skills did you admire in the competition? "Rachel, Brendon, Jeff and Dani were all the best competitors on the show and I think that is why Brendon, Dani and Jeff got evicted because they were so good and nobody thought they could beat them. Rachel sort of snuck by." What was your favorite memory from this season of Big Brother? "When David Hasselhoff came, because I won that!" Now that you've played twice, would you ever play again? Why or why not? "No, I am done and am retiring from Big Brother. It was a great experience to come back and I'm glad I did it, but I think I am done. It was a lot harder mentally this time around."

Big Brother 13: Exclusive Interview with Jordan Lloyd by Gina Scarpa From giving up a phone call home to basically asking to be evicted from the game, Jordan Lloyd has put others before herself this season on Big Brother - a quality that probably helped her win $500,000 the first time around two years ago. On last night's live eviction episode, Porsche won the Power of Veto and singlehandedly sent Jordan to the Jury House. Today, we spoke to Jordan in an exclusive interview about her experiences playing Big Brother for the second time. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Were you surprised that there wasn't a bigger target on your back, considering that you won the show two years ago? A. Jordan: No, not really because there were way bigger targets in the house. I'm not really a great competitor so everyone sort of overlooked me again which was to my advantage. People don't think about me as a threat so they keep me there. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Adam took a lot of heat this summer for being a floater, yet he showed his allegiance to you last night by keeping the nominations of Porsche and Kalia the same. What is your opinion of the way he played the game? A. Jordan: I think Adam was just trying to do what he could do to better himself. I think that he loves the game and is a big fan of the show and thought that was the best way to play by playing both sides.. In the end, he really did show that he was loyal to me and picked his side eventually. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Why didn't you and Porsche ever talk? Was it one sided on her part? A. Jordan: We were both just very different and didn't really click. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What surprised you the most about your alliance/friendship with Rachel? A. Jordan: I guess, that we worked so well together! And we just became friends. I never would have thought coming into the house that we would be friends and we were. She is a great girl. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: When Jeff was voted out of the house, were you more upset because Shelly betrayed the two of you or because Jeff's chances of winning the game were over? A. Jordan: It was both. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What is it going to be like when you see Shelly? Is all forgiven and forgotten? A. Jordan: Yeah. I've already forgiven her, everything will be fine. I definitely won't forget what she did, but everything will be normal. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You and Jeff are fan favorites and a lot of good things have come to the two of you from Big Brother. What's been the best part about this whole experience? A. Jordan: Just to be somebody who is returning, and come back in the house, and go as far as I did was very surprising. I thought I'd be one of the first people out. And the cast was amazing, I loved every single person. Everyone was just very cool.

BB13: Exclusive Interview with Jordan Lloyd What is your biggest pet peeve? Jordan:In the house – people not cleaning their dishes. What was the best part of the season? Jordan:Getting to spend time with Jeff. What was worse, finding out that Shelly had lied or Jeff leaving? Jordan:It was both. How do you think your game play/strategy changed between season 11 and season 13? Jordan:I didn’t do anything different – I did the exact same thing and played the exact same way as I did last year. How did it feel going back into the BB house? Did it change since the last time? Jordan:No, it wasn’t any different just a new cast and new people and you have to get adjusted to everyone again. What is your biggest regret the second time around? Jordan:No. If you played the game again, would you have been so close to Shelly? Jordan:Probably not. Did you ever think you would become such good friends with Rachel? Jordan:No. Walking into the house I did not think we would because we are opposites. But once I got to know her, she was really sweet and I really like her. Will you keep in contact with Rachel outside of the house? Jordan:Yes. Will you be friends with Shelly outside of the house? Jordan:Yes, everything is squashed. What are you most looking forward to in the jury house? Jordan:I am looking forward to spending some time with Jeff without cameras being around. then we can decide what we are going to do. I am looking forward to going back home to see my family and friends and who knows what I will do from there.Reality Nation with Jordan

Controversy, Commitment and Da Bears! Exclusive PHONE Interview with Jeff Schroeder By BestBBEver, September 18, 2011 Jeff Schroeder was once again a houseguest on CBS Big Brother and once again, he was cast out of the house and sent to the Jury. We didn't get a chance to talk to him post eviction but he made time to talk to Jokers Updates right after the finale and we 'appresh. JokersUpdates.com: Congratulations on the America's Choice vote and win. Jeff: Yeah, thanks, that was cool! JokersUpdates.com: Steve & Tony at Nonna Silvia's say hello! Jeff: Oh yeah, (his Chicago accent sounds heavy and very DeNiro on the phone) that's nice, I haven't talked to them yet. JokersUpdates.com: And the bears are kicking ass! Jeff: I know I heard! (laughing hard) JokersUpdates.com: That's got to be your biggest shock coming out of sequester, right? Jeff: NO, not a shock for me, it's da Bears, c'mon! JokersUpdates.com: This was a unique season of Big Brother and part of the fun was watching you and Jordan interact again. But, a lot of people were questioning whether or not it is a real relationship. Jeff: Really? JokersUpdates.com: Yes, really. I wrote a piece about it for Jokers Updates and I thought my take was pretty spot on. You two can be the final judge of that but it was interesting watching the two of you really play the game together this time, how was it for you? Jeff: It was great, it was great doing the show again with Jordan. We really wanted to win, I couldn't have done it without her. She was the best part of being in that house. (laughing as if remembering things.) JokersUpdates.com: Well from that fluff, I would like to jump into something serious. I would like to ask you about the things you said about Dumbledore being gay, during a conversation you had with Kalia. What was that all about? Jeff: You know what happened? I think I blew it all out of proportion. JokersUpdates.com: Are you homophobic? Jeff: No, that's the whole thing, I'm not, that's crazy. JokersUpdates.com: Would you consider leading the Gay Pride Parade in Chicago next year? Jeff: Yes, absolutely if I can help with that and that would help them. I didn't know about this whole Harry Potter thing, it was news to me and the point I was trying to make didn't come across and I am a man and I apologize where it's needed and I apologize for that hurt. You know, I didn't mean any harm, I don't have any hangup about gay people, I mean if it is, there is, an issue, there isn't a issue about it for me, you know what I mean? We have a Gay Pride Parade like you said and I would have fun with it and wouldn't have a problem with it in any way. I think people are quick to judge, my friends know me and everyone that does know me, knows that I don't think like that. JokersUpdates.com: Ok, but it is two seasons now that you have said things that sounded pretty bad, why is that? Jeff: It is hard to even talk about it sometimes because if I say it in a way that one person takes offense with, then it is," why did you say it like that?" And I don't even know where they are coming from, you know? I don't want to have a debate about it, I don't take sides on this, I am not like that, I support the LBGT community. JokersUpdates.com: I appreciate you talking about it now, it sounds like there is a side to you that people haven't seen and maybe need to see. Jeff: Yeah....... (sounding pensive but upbeat.) (We got a time warning right here, so I jumped into the next question on my list.) JokersUpdates.com: Would you consider doing a cooking show with Jordan? She could weave in and out of the show kinda of like a George Burns/Gracie Allen thing.......... Jeff: Yeah, that would be great. (chuckling) JokersUpdates.com: Say goodnight, Jordan! Jeff: Yeah that would be good........(laughing, chuckling) JokersUpdates.com: I loved you talking about how fired up you were after the Double Eviction and the clown shoe comments were hilarious, but you really seem to have gotten very Zen about the whole experience. Is there any chance you and Dani will finally find a way to become friends because you do seem to have the capacity to live and learn? Jeff: Absolutely, I really hold no ill will towards her (Dani) or anybody on the show. Everyone was great this year but sometimes people just don't get along but uh, maybe outside the show, I definitely give everyone a second chance like I did with the first houseguests....... JokersUpdates.com: You mean season 11? Jeff: Yeah, and if she (Dani) wanted to take a step towards friendship that's cool and that would be cool with me, I have no ill will towards anyone on the show. You have to put that stuff behind you so if there is room for her to have a friendship and it was wanted on her part I would absolutely be part of that. JokersUpdates.com: Ok, RealityRita on Jokers Updates would like to know if you are going to buy a ring for Jordan before you move in together? Very traditional fans you have, so what do you say? Jeff: Oh, that is very trad....that's uh, oh, I didn't even think about that, look at me, see that's another thing I have to think about.....um, I don't know, I don't know..........(absolute cute, funny male response, he is chuckling, confused and thinking) .........first we have to talk, me and Jordan have to talk, we have to really sit down and talk and see what's best for us right now, um and then we'll go from there. If it's buying the ring before (moving in together) 'cuz there's going to be some obviously time before we jump into what we want to do next, there will be time and uh, I didn't even think about the ring, how did I not think about the ring, you guys got me thinkin' now! I better! (think about it.) (lots of laughter.) JokersUpdates.com: Well my guess is that you wanted to win the 500 grand so you and Jordan could have a house in both places and go back and forth between them, is that the thought? Jeff: (laughing) Yeah, that was exactly the thought of us going back on, yeah the money obviously would have helped with moving to the next step in our relationship. JokersUpdates.com: Well you both have very strong family ties in very close-knit communities so it made sense to want to have access to both.......... Jeff: ..........that was the goal with going on (the show) and you know it was a very stressful summer but you know it's always so much better when you're done and looking back, I'm glad I did it. It was a great opportunity and a once in a lifetime experience, to do it twice is hard to pass up! Uh, we didn't win but I'm glad we did it, you know with everything that came with it and it was a good summer and it was a good summer for CBS and that's what matters, you know I had fun and that's what matters! JokersUpdates.com: deVinePoet wants to know, if you were a Big Brother producer what changes would you make to the show and why? Jeff: Um, I wouldn't change much, you know it's a well-oiled machine, they know what they're doing over there, putting people in the house together and then them not getting along, you know you put 13 of your best friends in a house together and they're going to fight at some point. It's just a great concept, I think it is really fair, the way they play the game, a lot of people say they gear it one way or the other and it's totally not true and I think that really came into fruition this season. You know a lot of things happened, anything could happen, anyone could win and I wouldn't you know change much about the show. I think they know exactly what they are doing over there. JokersUpdates.com: Do you have a production deal with CBS and are there any shows that we might be seeing you on this fall or winter? Jeff: I wish I did! (chuckling.) I am working with some people and I am working with the same people that I did "Around the World For Free" for and we've got some things in the works but nothing that I am signed on to do at this moment. Believe me, if I had something I would let everyone know the minute I got it! JokersUpdates.com: If you got called back for Big Brother All-Stars would you come back in and would you play it differently if Jordan wasn't with you? Jeff: Yeah, well, having Jordan in the house it's two different games playing with two different people than just playing by yourself. It's an advantage too having Jordan in the house 'cuz I am an emotional person, 'cuz I have to get things off my chest and having Jordan in there keeps me in check, to be honest, so I don't know how I would be by myself. As far as going back, um, my answer to that, I came up with a good one (chuckling) I watched Justin Beiber's movie in the Jury House, that Never say Never, so that's my answer! Never Say Never, I'm leaving it at that! (time call) JokersUpdates.com: Ok, good answer. We would love to see you on Jokers Updates, if you ever have the time and thank you for entertaining us again, this summer! Jeff: I 'appresh all of you at Jokers, all of the support. Bye. We did not have anymore time. My next question was about the perception amongst some Big Brother viewers that Jeff was a bully and acted "entitled" to be in the house. I would still like to ask him that question. Jeff is very aware of his temper and I think the term bullying is being misused too much, which mitigates the horror of those who are really suffering from it. Adults playing an adult game televised for TV, does not constitute bullying anymore than the smack talking constitutes slander. It is a game for TV and summer entertainment. Mean, pushy, brash, bold and disrespectful of certain players, maybe Jeff was all of the those things at different times, in the house. Maybe he saw the other houseguests as opponents on a football team, he certainly rallied his alliance like he was giving a "win one for the Gipper" speech, but bullying? I didn't see it. As for the charges of entitlement? That one made me laugh. Every single person in that house, came into that house thinking they had the right to win or they wouldn't have spent their summer entertaining us. Entitle this! So, Big Brother 13 is in the can, the trash can as always, but some would say a nicer, funnier trash can with a lot of pretty glitter. It wasn't the most moving or captivating season but it had its moments and many of the best ones centered around Jeff, so, I am glad he was there. But, personally, rather than ever seeing him on another CBS reality show, I would like to see him making dinner on a cooking show and teaching us how to add his homemade jardiniere to our favorite dishes. Bon appetit, indeed! Source: http://www.jokersupdates.com/jarticles/article.php?article=1861
- Jordan - Charlotte Observer.com
'Big Brother' house has been her home - twice Posted: Monday, Sep. 19, 2011 Jordan Lloyd, a Butler High School graduate, finished fourth out of 14 contestants in this season's "Big Brother" series. CLIFF LIPSON - CBS To get an idea of how Jordan Lloyd of Waxhaw has spent two of her past three summers, just invite a dozen or so strangers into your house, lock yourself inside it with them, and don't open the door again for more than two months. Oh, and no TV, no Internet, no phones, no books, no magazines, no music allowed. This summer, the 25-year-old receptionist spent 69 days in a CBS sound stage also known as the "Big Brother" house, where she was surrounded by cameras, microphones and a gradually dwindling number of people as part of the 13th season of one of the longest-running reality series on TV. "You're trapped. And there's only so many places you can go in the (house)," Lloyd said, describing the experience by phone from Los Angeles on Friday. "You feel like a science project." Lloyd ultimately finished fourth out of 14 contestants, her elimination coming with less than a week left in the competition. The season finale aired Wednesday, when Rachel Reilly - a graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School in Kannapolis - was crowned the winner. Both women were returning players; Reilly placed ninth in 2010, Lloyd won the $500,000 top prize in 2009. After receiving the half-million-dollar check last week, Reilly returned to her home in Las Vegas. Lloyd is back in the Charlotte area. "It's so good to be out of the house, to see people other than your other houseguests, to just socialize with everyone, and get to go out to a restaurant and eat," said Lloyd, who plans to resume her job as a receptionist at Planet 21 Salon at The Arboretum on Providence Road. Lloyd - a girl-next-door-type who did poorly in physical and mental challenges but made up for it with strong social skills - played much of the game alongside her boyfriend Jeff Schroeder, whom she met on the show two summers ago. To give you an idea of how they were perceived by viewers, Lloyd was routinely referred to as "America's sweetheart," while Schroeder (who finished fifth in 2009, seventh this time) was named on finale night as the winner of a fan popularity contest that featured a $25,000 prize. As for the next step in their relationship ... "Well, me and Jeff, we're gonna figure out where we're gonna go - if we're gonna live in Chicago (Schroeder's hometown) or if we're gonna move out here (LA)," she said. "We haven't even gotten to talk about anything yet, so as of right now I'm just going back to work at the salon and then kind of go from there." Lloyd suggested Chicago has the edge at the moment, but when asked what she loves about Charlotte, the Butler High School graduate said: "I love how everybody's just so friendly there. ... Oh, and Jeff wanted me to say, 'And we get to go to Panthers games.' Jeff loves the Panthers, because every time we go, they're so nice. They gave us free tickets, and he got so excited. In Chicago, they (the Bears) don't ever do anything. They don't even care," she says, laughing. Lloyd was born in St. Louis, but soon afterward her family moved to the Matthews-Mint Hill area. She was working three jobs when she was cast on "Big Brother" in 2009 - at Planet 21, and at Whisky River and Strike City, both at uptown Charlotte's EpiCentre. After winning in 2009, she bought a Waxhaw townhouse that she shares with her mother and brother. In 2010, she competed with Schroeder on CBS' "The Amazing Race," finishing seventh out of 11 teams. So, would she come back for third round of "Big Brother"? "No," said Lloyd, who is also a part-time student at Central Piedmont Community College. "I'm retiring from 'Big Brother.' I had a great experience. I don't regret it." She was interrupted by Schroeder, who said something inaudible in the background. "I'm doing my interview, be quiet." Then: "Jeff loves Justin Bieber, OK, and he said that Justin Bieber said 'Never Say Never.' " So Schroeder, at least - he would go back a third time? "He said, 'Never say never.' "
