  • Jordan's HOH Blog - BB13

Jordan's HOH BLOG Posted On July 21, 2011 WOW... this has been one week as HOH. I was so nervous last Thursday at the HOH competition because I felt like Jeff and I would get sent home if one member of our alliance didn't win. All the hours of practicing paid off and thanks to Jeff and brandon for letting me win! I was so happy to get a letter from home. I miss my family, friends, and dog Maggie so much. When I read my letter, It made me want to try a lot harder to be here, because I know everyone back at home is cheering me on. I want to make my family proud. I hope everyone watching is enjoying this season so far. All the house guests are so awesome. For the most part everyone gets along and we have fun together. shelly is the "mom" of the group. She's always cleaning and doing laundry. She has a heart of gold and loves her family so much. whenever I get married, I hope I have the relationship and love that Shelly and her husband have. Spending the Summer with Jeff has been GREAT! I hope Jeff and I make it far in this game. I'm worried about this next HOH competition because I don't want us to get separated for the Summer. I'm so happy to have Jeff in here because he takes my mind off the game and we can have fun. We have are moments where we bicker but what couple doesn't. I love how Jeff always has my back and wont let anyone mess with me..haha. The whole argument at the veto competition with Jeff and Rachel is squashed. I think she was just upset cause I chose not to take slop and she did. I think sometimes she just really gets into competitions and doesn't mean what she says. Rachel isn't as bad as she seems. she's very sweet and caring. I think she just has such a big personality that some people get a little aggravated with her and her comments. Rachel means well. Brandon is so funny. He's a very calm person and I think him and rachel balance each other out. I think he is also very intelligent and nice. Cassie is a beautiful person inside and out. She's the girl that gets along with everyone and is very laid back. I enjoy talking to her and shelly because you know their good people. Lawan and Kaleigha are HILARIOUS together. I love them. Lawan's always happy and dancing and kaleigha is fun to talk to. Her and I can talk for hours about everything and we both like to gossip haha. I told her were like Deon and Cher from clueless. Dominique's like everyones little brother you pick on. He's such a good kid. You can tell his mom raised him right because he's very polite. Adam's crazy! who would have thought that someone like him who loves heavy metal is obsessed with 90210. Adams a very nice person and is so happy to be here! Every time he talks about BB he just lights up. Danny is great to have around because she tells you like it is and I love how she's a little sassy. I enjoy laying out with her at the pool and feel like she's a good alliance member. Were all sad Dick had to leave. He's a very nice man and very entertaining. Jeff and I would have loved to play this season with Dick because there's never a dull moment with him. This has been a emotional week for everyone. At the veto ceremony I had to put up Shelly and Cassie and that wasn't really what I wanted to do. I felt like Shelly, Cassie, Jeff and I would have made a great team together. I felt awful when I put them on the block. I almost cried during my speech and then after the ceremony they were crying so I started to because I felt like I disappointed them. Its hard being HOH with this many people in the house because you cant please everyone. I couldn't turn on my alliance because it would be dumb on my part this early in the game. I have to look out for Jeff and I and whats going to further us in this game and I felt like that was the best decision. Besides all the emotions and drama between the girls this has been a great summer so far and I'm so happy to be here again and hope to make it far with Jeff!

  • Jeff Makes BB's Top 10 Most Memorable Moments

Jeff using the Coup D'Etat made #2 on executive producer Alison Grodner's Top 10 Most Memorable Moments in Big Brother History. No. 2: JEFF USES THE COUP D’ÉTAT (SEASON ELEVEN) After being awarded secret power to overthrow the head of household by the viewers, Jeff chose to shock his roommates and use it on eviction night. By saving his pal Russell and sending villain Jessie out the door, he changed the course of the game. The Jessie alliance, overwhelmed by his sudden eviction, held an impromptu memorial, crying and carrying on as if he had died. The result was one of the most melodramatic and unintentionally hilarious moments ever on Big Brother. Grodner’s take: “America voted for someone to have the Coup d’État. Jeff was flattered to get it, although he couldn’t pronounce it—which was a funny moment. He knew he had to get rid of his archenemy, Jessie. So he did. They were speaking about Jessie as if he had passed away. It was so over the top.”

  • Jeff's HOH Blog - BB13 - 8/25

HOH Blog: Jeff Posted on Aug 25, 2011 10:30pm hey everyone its big jeff here your new HOH. let me start off by explaining the 3rd person nickname "big jeff". it started off as just a joke between me and my buddies, and some how in the BB house it got out of control a little bit so sorry about the the 3rd person references in the DR, just having fun. i wanted to give a little shout out to my brother scott for all the great pic's of me, my parents, nieces, himself, and my HOH basket. thank you marley and macy for the wonderful letters you wrote me, really made my day and gave me more motivation than ever to understand what i was playing for and why i'm here, TO WIN!! my sister in law ali got the shaft from from my HOH pic's but i was still thinking of you! i also have another older brother people might not know about with a wife and 5 kids and i wish them all the best as well. my parents, family and good friends thanks for all the support! love you very much!!! i'm gonna do my very best to get jordan and i to the final 2, im determined and extremely motivated!!! really quick just wanted to say hi to dick sorry you had to go brother, hope all is well! Also keith, cassi, & dom, can't believe you guys were locked up that long, it was good seeing you all again, looking forward to the final so we can all hang out again! now as far my new house mates, casey is hilarious in his banana suit! no wait, that was the other season haha. seriously its a total different game this time around! of the remaining house guests lets start with shelly. shelly is awesome, so down to earth, easy to talk to. now on a totally different subject lets go to rachel. rachel rachel rachel, what a handful to say the least. i truly think she means well but just has a bit of growing up to do. but like i said i think her heart is in the right place. i'm learning more and more how to understand her each day. adam's turn. adam is a great guy, big heart, full of laughs and his best attribute to me is how he takes jokes so well. some people in here are way to sensitive and adam is the opposite. i'm glad he's here to cut up with on a daily basis. good people. okay daniele's turn. what do i say about daniele? i think me and daniele are very similar in a lot of ways but just play the game very differently. i would have loved to work with her but the way things went down early on, it just wasn't meant to be… she's not to happy with big jeff at the moment so will just move on to the next person. kalia…. well kalia does a lot of talking and also a lot of sleeping haha, its true! early on i thought that kalia was pretty cool, but im not sure its kalia who is left in this house anymore? she seems to have been drinking whatever juice daniele has been giving her and has made a visible change in her personality.. but once we get outta here im sure she'll come back to her normal fun kalia self. porsche……… your guess is probably better than mine on how porsche is. i think i talked to her about an hour in total in 54 days. she's seems like a really fun girl, seriously, but im not sure if she's really as bubbly as she puts out, or if she a BB mastermind and has been playing us all along? haha, honestly, i don't have a clue? she likes to bake and she's good at making things out of clay. good job porsche! ha now lets do JORDAN!! jordan is of course the best as im sure you all can see, she is trying really really hard and is more competitive than i have ever seen her!!! kinda turns me on! haha. but the best thing is she hasn't lost how sweet and kind she is, that girl is truly one of a kind!! she did a wonderful thing when she gave up that phone call to home, because i know how much she wanted to talk to her mom! but she did the right thing and that's one of the many things i love about jordan to say the least! without her here i'm sure how i would get through this!! we are both happy we made it this far and that we are the last couple remaining in the house! but were not done yet, trust me! in closing just wanted to say thank you so much again to my family for everything, hope im not doing anything to embarrass you too badly… my friends, also people watching the show who like big jeff, thanks for all the support!!! if you don't like big jeff you should not be reading this and you should be doing something more productive with your day other than correcting all my grammar mistakes losers! haha PEACE IM OUTTA HERE!!! Jeff

  • The Yak?s Interview with BB13 Evictee Jeff Schroeder!

The Yak’s Interview with BB13 Evictee Jeff Schroeder! By Kasey Olmstead – August 26, 2011 The Yak had the pleasure to interview the latest victim of elimination, Jeff, following a grueling double eviction night in the Big Brother House! Keep reading to see what he had to say to our members questions, before being driven off to the jury house! The Yak: We have a lot of fans of yours over here at YakkityYaks! We fans can see what a pressure cooker the Big Brother House truly is, but we never had the chance to experience it of course. Can you tell us, first hand, how it feels to be trapped in the house with mostly strangers, and how stressful it really is? Jeff: The “strangers” part you get over quickly. I like meeting new people – that wasn’t stressful. The daily grind is stressful…very stressful. The fun part is meeting everyone…the stressful part is living with them. The Yak: Had you met Dick, Daniele, Rachel and Brendon outside the house previous to this meeting, and did you like them? Jeff: I spoke with Dick several times before coming back on the show. I liked him…you know what you are getting with him. I never met Brendon and Rachel or spoke with them and I had met Daniele one time before briefly at a party. The Yak, from Forum Member TheKdd: It was very ironic that both you and Daniele agreed that there were many players in the game that never stood up and did something for themselves, rather you both had to get your hands dirty. Many of us were hoping you two would have teamed up. Looking back, do you think there was anything you could have done more of that would have put you two on the same side of the house? Jeff: I would have loved to team up with Daniele. I think we think alike, but after she tried to backdoor me for no reason, I could never trust her again. It would have been stupid on my part to take that chance. The Yak, from Forum Member KaysarRocks and CR: You and Kalia were discussing the Harry Potter book, and the fact that, originally, he was written to be a gay character, and your reaction to that. Can you clarify for the fans what you meant as it didn’t seem you were able to really express what your views on that was. Jeff: My hesitation was not regarding the fact that he was gay…my point was that you cannot send your 8 year old kid off to a magical fantasy land…regardless of whoever is in charge. I would not send my kid off to a fictional, magical land. It came off wrong and I apologize for that, but again, that was not my intention. The Yak, from Forum Member Hapyhouswf: Unfortunately, you got got again. Anything you wish you had done differently? Jeff: Yes – lots of things. I wish I wasn’t painted as a target. I wasn’t comfortable with that role and it ultimately led to my demise The Yak, from Forum Member SassyGal: What was the best thing about returning to the Big Brother House? Other than eviction, what was the worst thing about returning? Jeff: Best thing – 2nd opportunity at a once in a lifetime experience. Worst Part – how stressful it is and how your mind plays tricks on you. You feel yourself changing while you’re in the game. A lot harder this time around. The Yak, from Forum Member Kristin: Will you remain friends with Shelly outside the house? Will you pursue working with her? Jeff: I thought I would be and I want to say that it’s all just a game, but for Shelly to do something like that to me really hurts — past the game level. Right now, it stings, but we’ll see how I feel at the finale. The Yak: If you had stayed and won HoH last night, who would you have put up and why? Jeff: Kalia and Porsche – because I wanted to get floaters out of the house. Shelly might have been in the mix because of what went down, but likely Kalia and Porshce. The Yak: Who at this moment would you like to see join you next in the jury house? Jeff: Shelly The Yak: If you have the chance in the future, would you do it all again? Jeff: You have to give me at least 6 months before I can even talk about BB. The Yak: If you could start this season over again, what would you do differently? Jeff: Wish I wouldn’t have been a target. The Yak: Thank you Jeff! You are most loved over at YakkityYaks! Our fans are hoping to see you soon! • B.B.A.D. Radio Exclusive Interview with Jeff

Hey Big Jeff this is B.B.A.D Radio and thanks for answering some of our questions. We heard right before the live show that there was a big blow out between you, Shelly, and Adam. What sparked this so close to the live show and what occurred? It was just to call Shelly out. She made three deals with other people in the house. That might have been my demise, but it happened the way it happened. I wasn’t scared of anyone in the house, but ultimately that was my demise. Either way, I’m out and they are in. If you had known prior that there was going to be a double eviction yesterday, would your strategy had been any different? I don’t know what I could have done to prepare even if I had known…But I definitely would not have had it out with Shelly. You didn't seem like the same Jeff from Season 11 as you were this season. We saw a lot more intensity out of you. Was this your plan from the beginning to play so hard? No – it wasn’t. It was just a very stressful situation and I didn’t enjoy that. I don’t like to feel that way, but unfortunately that is the way it turned out. How different was it playing this season as opposed to your last season? My first season…I think there were more personalities inside the house. People were not afraid to express who they were. This season -- people didn’t express their personalities or maybe they just don’t have personalities worth expressing? Do you regret any of your decisions and would you have done anything differently? Wish I wouldn’t have been a target. Why didn't you put Daniele initially up on the block? She very well could have won Veto and taken one of your noms up and you would have put up one of your alliance members. I took a chance -- if Daniel would have won, she would have still thought we were working together. If she didn’t win, I would have gotten rid of her. Either way I would have been safe. Are you surprised you were voted out against Rachel who most everyone seemed to not like or annoyed with? I’m still shocked. Do you wish you would have kept Dominic over Adam? No. Dom ultimately wanted to backdoor me so absolutely not. As the weeks progressed we started hearing you refer to yourself as Big Jeff more and more. What's up with the "Big Jeff"? That was just a nickname that me and my California buddies joke around with…it became a joke inside the house and I was just having fun with it. With Brenchel's trashbag wedding, did the wedding bug hit you? Maybe, but I would probably class mine up a little bit. You had said it was difficult to worry about keeping yourself and Jordan safe. Do you think you would have had it easier if you played the game without Jordan? Yes and No. Yes, because I would not have to worry about both of us. I know Jordan can take care of herself, but it’s just my nature to protect her. No, because I have never played without her. She keeps me sane inside the house. I would rather have her there. Which houseguest would you like to see follow you into the jury house next? Shelly Source: http://bbad.forumotion.net/t984-bbad-radio-exclusive-interview-with-jeff-schroeder#13358

  • Reality Wanted Exclusive Interview

Big Brother 13: Exclusive Interview with Jeff Schroeder by Gina Scarpa Things change quickly in the Big Brother house and nobody knows that better than Jeff. One minute, he was HOH and backdooring Daniele and the next minute, he was following her to the jury house after playing a week's worth of the game in one night. Today, we talked to the fan favorite in an exclusive interview about broken alliances, the fight with Shelly, and what he thinks of Rachel's and Jordan's chances in the game. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You and Jordan have gained a lot of fame from being on Big Brother and The Amazing Race. What brought you back to play the game a second time - money or the desire to compete? A. Jeff: It was such a great opportunity to do it twice. It was mentally challenging, but it's a blessing to be able to play again. How many people get that chance? After the initial shock of last night wears off, it will be a great part of my life. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What was the fight this week with Shelly about? Is it because she told Rachel that you threw the cornhole challenge? A. Jeff: It was just to call Shelly out. She made three deals with other people in the house. That might have been my demise, but it happened the way it happened. I wasn't scared of anyone in the house, but ultimately, that was my demise. Either way, I'm out and they are in. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Are you surprised that she suddenly turned on your alliance? A. Jeff: Shocked. I thought I would be friends with Shelly after the game - and I want to say that it is all just a game - but for Shelly to do something like that really hurt. Right now, it stings, but we'll see how I feel at the finale. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Playing a week's worth of Big Brother in one night might be great television but it seems pretty terrible if you're a player and end up on the wrong side of things. Could things have gone differently if tonight's events took place over the course of a week? A. Jeff: I don't know what I could have done to prepare even if I had known, but I definitely would not have had it out with Shelly yesterday. Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Jordan and Rachel were both very upset that you left the house. Do you think they can make it to the end if Adam sticks with them? A. Jeff: Yes I do. Rachel is a strong competitor and Jordan gets focused when I'm not in that house. I think they are twice the competitors that the other girls are and I think they have a good chance Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What do you want to say to your fans? A. Jeff: To the people who were rooting for me, thanks for all the support. And to those who didn't love me, congratulations, I'm out of the house. Source: http://www.realitywanted.com/newsitem/4634-big-brother-13-exclusive-interview-with-jeff-schroeder

  • Reality News Online Exclusive Interview

“Once Someone Crosses Me, I Can’t Trust Them” – Reality News Online’s Exclusive Interview with Big Brother 13’s Jeff by David Bloomberg -- 08/26/2011 Jeff went from the top of the Big Brother world to straight out the door in less than an hour. Did he think it was fair? What does he say about the game – and others – played? Did he trust or mistrust too much? How does he think Jordan will do, with Rachel as her only real ally? And what does Jeff have to say regarding his comments that were widely seen as anti-gay in relation to Harry Potter and Professor Dumbledore? After a blur of an episode, Jeff went from king of the castle (or at least Head of Household) straight out the door. I was able to ask him some departing questions, touching on the way he played the game, his thoughts on the others, and even his controversial comments that were widely taken to be anti-gay. Read on to see what he had to say! Reality News Online: Hello again, Jeff, and thanks for taking the time to answer some questions for us here at Reality News Online. Getting right to it, what was your initial plan coming in, knowing you'd likely have a target on you? Jeff: The plan was to lay low. That is what you need to do in this game and let stronger people go after each other. We had to fight from Day 1 as the veterans as we were outnumbered by the other houseguests. And Daniele thought the grass was greener on the other side, and it wasn’t. RNO: You played hard and went from the top of the mountain to out the door in just one night. Do you feel it was fair to go out the way you did, with no real chance to talk to the other players? Jeff: That’s the game of Big Brother. RNO: Do you think you trusted – or mistrusted – the right people throughout the season? And why was it so hard to trust anyone other than Jordan? Jeff: I think mistrusted. You never know who to trust. And by being in the leadership role, it’s hard to make a decision. The reality is not what it seems like inside the house. I mistrusted everyone in that house – except Jordan obviously. RNO: How do you think Jordan will do now, as it seems Rachel might be her closest ally? Jeff: I don’t know. The way I play the game is opposite to the remaining houseguests. Maybe she will have to take more naps like everyone else in the house. I think Jordan will do fine. I’m out and she is in – she did it without me last time and she can do it again. Source: http://www.realitynewsonline.com/cgi-bin/ae.pl?mode=4&article=article12897.art&page=1

  • Global TV Interview with Jeff

Big Brother 13: Interview with Evicted Houseguest Jeff Schroeder We know to expect the unexpected in the Big Brother house. One minute you're in power, and the next minute you're walking out the door. After spending a week making all the decisions in the house as HoH and the winner of the Power of Veto, Jeff Schroeder finally made his big move and got his target Daniele out of the house. But on the same day, he found out that his biggest ally, Shelly, had switched alliances and was working against Jeff and his girlfriend Jordan. It caused a big blowup hours before the live show. But when a double eviction was announced prior to Daniele leaving the house, Jeff knew he was in trouble. He was put up on the chopping block and pleaded with Shelly not to go against him for Jordan's sake. Jeff was undoubtedly one of the strongest players in the house and seen as a threat to everyone's chance of winning the game. The ramifications of fan favourite, Jeff leaving the house have been exhaustive as fans turned against Shelly even more. We caught up with Jeff and asked him if he can ever forgive Shelly. Jeff, how shocked are you to be sitting in jury right now? Where do you think it went wrong? Jeff: I’m blown away. Its one thing to be blindsided by a double eviction and to have less than strong players team up to get me out…and to have a third person who you protected and respected throughout the entire game evict you. It’s heartbreaking. Do you regret voting Brendon out the second time around? Jeff: If I would have won…no. Right now…yes. It was a tough decision to make. Ultimately we didn’t decide…Daniele did. Now that I am out – yes, I made the wrong choice. Do you trust Adam to stick with Jordan at this point? Jeff: Honestly I don’t know who to trust. I think Adam showed his cards and he doesn’t have another place to go. So yes, he probably will. Do you wish you had done anything differently in the house? Jeff:Yes – lots of things. I wish I wasn’t painted as a target. I wasn’t comfortable with that role and it ultimately led to my demise. Can you let me know your thoughts on Shelly? You and Jordan were starting to doubt her for a while. Do you think Shelly has a strong game play and can make it to the final two? Jeff: Absolutely not, but she will cry her way to the final two and use whatever tactics (including her family) as a means to get to the end. She put the blinders on me for awhile using those tactics. Do you think things would have been different had you stuck to a deal with Dani and played with her? Jeff: The way I live my life is the way I play the game. If you backstab me in the game or in life I am coming after you. It wasn’t an option for me. I couldn’t team up with someone like that. I could not sell out. Do you think Jordan will be able to get through the game now that you and Brendon are gone? Jeff: I knew that we were huge targets. Now that I am gone, people might look past her. Hopefully with me gone she can slide under the radar. She will have her work cut out for her, but I believe that she can do it. Why did you and Jordan decide to come back in the house and play a second time? Jeff: It was a great opportunity to do it twice. It was mentally challenging, but it’s a blessing to be able to play again. How many people get that chance? After the initial shock of last night wears off it will be a great part of my life.

  • Big Brother Network Interview with Jeff Schroeder

We caught up with Jeff Schroeder this weekend and got his thoughts on Daniele, the Big Brother 13 double eviction and his future plans with Jordan. Chloe: Does it feel a little like deja vu right now? Jeff: No because the double eviction is blindsiding. The last time I left I had a week to come to terms with it. This is what I feared most. People only had to look me in the eyes for 30 seconds last night. I have a lot of unfinished business in that house…at least I am in good spirits. Chloe: Do you think things would have turned out differently had you kept Daniele in the game? Jeff: I could never trust Daniele after she tried to backdoor me. Do I think she would have done it again? Yes. My best move was getting rid of Daniele. Chloe: Who do you want sitting with Jordan in the final two? Jeff: Adam Chloe: Who do you want to see evicted next week? Jeff: Shelly, Kalia or Porsche – any one of them would be great. Chloe: Have you and Jordan talked about marriage at all? Is that a possibility anytime soon? Jeff: After this time on the show, we’ll need some time to decompress. And then we’ll definitely start taking the next step…we’ll leave it at that. Chloe: If you could change one move you made, what would it be? What does Jordan need to do to make it to the finals? Jeff: I don’t know. The way I play the game is opposite of all the remaining HG. Maybe she will have to take more naps like everyone else in the house. I think Jordan will do fine. I’m out and she is in – she did it without me last time and she can do it again. • CBS.com Eviction Interview with Jeff

Eviction Interview: Jeff Posted on Aug 26, 2011 09:45pm hrich1210: What are your concerns for Jordan in the house without you? People taking advantage of her. That is the one thing I don't like. Jordan's kindness is sometimes mistaken for weakness and that gets me fired up. heatherhump7601: Do you regret trusting shelly? Yes I do. I'm out and she voted me out. lilyyangg: If you and Daniele had worked together do you think you would have taken out the floaters who all don't deserve to be there? 100 percent - but I couldn't trust Daniele to do that because all the floaters were her friends. hannahkaylin: Big Jeff. Are you going to be friends with Shelly outside the bb house? And where is your relationship with Jordan? I thought I would be and I want to say that it is all just a game, but for Shelly to do something like that to me really hurts -- past the game level. Right now, it stings, but we'll see how I feel at the finale. patandaj patandajf: LOTS of lazy floaters this summer. Who's the worst offender? Kalia, Porsche, Shelly or Adam? Best floater was either Porsche or Shelly - they are equally terrible.

  • Reality News Online With Jordan

There Are Many Different Ways to Play This Game” – Reality News Online’s Exclusive Interview with Big Brother 13’s Jordan by David Bloomberg -- 09/09/2011 Jordan came into the game as the only previous winner. Did she know this would put a huge target on her? How does she feel about making it as far as she did? How does she describe the way she played the game and did it change from a couple years ago? Jordan discusses all of this and more, so read on! Reality News Online: Hello again, Jordan, and thanks for taking the time to answer some questions from Reality News Online. When you decided to come back to Big Brother, did you realize how big a target you and Jeff would be, and how did you plan to deal with that? Jordan: Yeah, coming back in I knew we would be a target for sure. But I didn’t know we were duos right off the bat. But when I saw the other returning duos, I thought Brendon and Rachel would be much bigger targets than Jeff and I because they were such big competitors and had such strong personalities. RNO: Given that you were a previous winner, did it surprise you to make it as far as you did and even come close to having another shot at winning? Jordan: Yes. It did surprise me that I did make it this far which is why I am not too upset. But I do wish I had made it to the top three, I was only a week away. RNO: Indeed, only one other player has accomplished what you did (winning and then getting to the final four), and that's Dr. Will. How does it feel to be basically on the same level, survival-wise, as the guy who is generally thought of by fans to be the greatest player ever? And what do you think it says about your ability to play the game? Jordan: It’s a big compliment and makes me feel good because I know people love Will. And it shows that there are many different ways to play this game and my way is to be honest and laying low and I don’t have to win competitions, I can be a social player and still make it far. RNO: When I interviewed you two years ago, after you won your original season, you said your strategy then was to exaggerate your naïveté and make yourself less of a threat. You also told me, “My way of playing the game was to not lie and to be nice.” Did you try to do these things again this time or did you use a different tactic? Jordan: No, I was honest. I played the exact same game that I did last time. I was more mature this time and wiser about the game, but I played the exact same way. RNO: You also gave me what might be one of the best summaries of the game of Big Brother ever, saying, “You don’t have to win the most competitions, be the strongest or the smartest – it’s a lot of things, how you connect with people, how you control yourself. A lot is just being nice – that wasn’t fake, that was for real. My thing is make people feel the way you want to be treated. Even when people were rude to me, I still treated them with respect.” Why do you think it’s so difficult for so many players to understand that it is, indeed, “a lot of things,” especially how you treat your fellow houseguests? Jordan: I don’t know, there are just a million different ways to play the games. So many people think you have to win every competition, but if people don’t see you as a threat, it’s easier to get by because everyone wants to get out the strong competitors. For me, I don’t like to lie and I think you can be yourself and be honest and win the game without being a manipulator. RNO: After being evicted, you told Julie Chen that it was almost a no-brainer for Porsche to evict you instead of Rachel because you’d barely talked to Porsche. Given the way you seemed to get along with everybody, why hadn’t you talked to Porsche more? Jordan: We were both just very different and didn’t really click. RNO: Do you think Porsche’s decision could have been more about strategy in terms of who might be easier to beat at the end, rather than just who she liked more on a personal level? Jordan: I think it would have been smarter for Porsche to take me because she probably could beat me, but instead she took who she liked more and took Rachel who is a much bigger competitor. RNO: Looking back into the game, and with hindsight being 20/20, what would you do differently earlier that you think might have affected the outcome in a positive way for yourself (other than winning a particular competition)? Jordan: I wouldn’t change anything. RNO: So you’ve been on two seasons of Big Brother and on The Amazing Race. What reality show would you like to do next?! Jordan: None... I'm retired. RNO: Ha! Well, thanks again, Jordan!
