- ‘Big Brother’ Showmances Through the Years: Where Are They Now?
By Us Weekly Staff August 30, 2023 It’s tough to win Big Brother without some sort of alliance — but it’s even more difficult if you’re one half of a showmance. However, that doesn’t stop competitors, time and time again, from pairing up while in the house. “The secret no one knows about Big Brother — I think it’s really a marriage show,” host Julie Chen Moonves said during Entertainment Tonight‘s Big Brother 25th Anniversary Special in July 2023. “We’ve had more successful marriages than The Bachelor because when you are locked away from society, you bond, and you get to see every side of that person.” Keep scrolling to see all the Big Brother showmances over the years and find out who’s still together (JEJO Section) Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd – Season 11 Status: Married Jeff and Jordan are one of the most beloved couples in Big Brother history. Jordan won their season while Jeff won America’s Favorite Houseguest. The two, who later returned for season 13 and competed on season 16 of The Amazing Race, are now married with two sons, Lawson and Layton. - “Where is the outrage?”: Jeff Schroeder hailed online as he blasts Kim Kardashian and Hollywood...
ByBarsha Roy Modified Dec 02, 2022 08:22 GMT Jeff Schroeder slammed Hollywood stars over delayed response to Balenciaga scandal (Image via Getty Images) Daily Blast Live host Jeff Schroeder recently took to his show to strongly condemn the delay in calling out Balenciaga’s controversial ad campaign featuring children wearing suggestive BDSM and bondage outfits. While discussing whether stars should speak out against the brand or cut ties altogether, Schroeder blasted the lack of outrage in relation to the situation: “They should cut ties. Where is the outrage? I am gonna go off for a minute here because where is the outrage? It’s been a week and a half and now we are doing this story." He added: “I get it Thanksgiving was happening and all that but they tried to hide behind that right? Maybe this will make it through the new cycle. No its not okay.” Jeff Schroeder also referenced Adidas getting called out for not cutting ties with Kanye West within 48 hours of the latter’s anti-Semitic controversy. He argued that no one had a similar reaction to Balenciaga’s issue despite little children being involved in the scandal: “Adidas didn’t cut ties 48 hours after Kanye did his whole thing and they got lambasted for not speaking out against anti-Semitism. This is a week and a half and nobody seems to care that there’s little kids involved in this.” Speaking to his co-hosts, Jeff Schroeder mentioned that he is looking into the controversy as a father of two children and dubbed that situation as “disgusting and disturbing”: “I can’t speak for what it’s like to be a black man, I can’t speak for what it’s like to be a Jewish woman but I could of what it’s like to be a father of two young boys... Don’t tell me this slips through the cracks when you are getting a court case that features child p*rnography. It’s disgusting. It’s disturbing.” The TV personality also recalled how producer Mike Richards stepped down from hosting Jeopardy! after his past misogynistic comments came to light. He also questioned how Balenciaga’s scandal “slipped through the cracks”: “Jeopardy! flipped their whole production because one person said something but they wanted to be woke and do all that... 10, 20, 30, 40 years of going back to cancel people but this slips through the cracks? It’s outrageous.” Jeff Schroeder further claimed that the public as well as celebrities are not making enough efforts to hold the brand accountable and said: “That people aren’t outraged and skipping work with their posters and going to the courthouse or going to Balenciaga and stars aren’t wiping their Instagram and social media with all their Balenciaga gear is disgusting in itself.” He also called out the Hollywood stars for their response to the situation: “Don’t you tell me Hollywood how to live my life or you want me canceled or because you produce something. You’re gonna go wrong because Balenciaga pays you a million dollars, two million, five million.” The former Big Brother star also slammed Kim Kardashian for her delayed response and for saying she is “re-evaluating” her relationship with Balenciaga instead of ending her ties: “Kim Kardashian, shame on you. You’re a billionaire, you don’t need this company, they need you and for you to take a week and a half to come to a conclusion? Shame on you.” Jeff Schroeder: “Kim Kardashian, shame on you.” Jeff Schroeder’s reaction comes after Balenciaga addressed their controversy following a social media outrage and said that they were taking accountability for their actions. The brand also issued an apology and filed a $25M lawsuit against the production company that filmed the campaign. Netizens praises Jeff Schroeder over Balenciaga controversy response Twitter praises Jeff Schroeder over remarks on Balenciaga ad controversy (Image via Getty Images)Balenciaga continues to face severe online backlash over its recent controversial child ad campaign scandal. Last month, the brand launched its Gift Shop collection and featured it in the campaign. For the ads, children were seen holding plush bear purses with clothes and surrounding props, suggesting themes of BDSM and bondage. Another ad for the brand’s Spring 2023 Garde-Robe campaign also consisted of an image showing a printout of the 2008 “U.S. vs. Williams” Supreme Court ruling on child p*rnography laws. In the wake of the controversy, talk-show host Jeff Schroeder called out Hollywood stars and Balenciaga brand ambassador Kim Kardashian for their delayed response to the situation. - ‘Big Brother’ stars Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd land new show
CNN — By Chloe Melas, CNN Published 12:54 PM EST, Tue March 9, 2021 “Big Brother” fan favorites Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd are back. The husband and wife duo, who met on season 11 of the hit show in 2009, were announced Tuesday as co-hosts of a new real estate television series, “This You Need To See.” It will feature top real estate agents around the country and tour their properties in cities like Chicago and Philadelphia. The best part is that the houses are currently on the market. The show, produced by Emmy Award winning producer Shane Farley and Alex Boylan, will air on CBS and then on Amazon Prime. “Jeff and I met and fell in love when we were locked up in the Big Brother house, so if there’s one thing we know … it’s houses,” Lloyd said in a statement to CNN. “But all kidding aside, we just moved into our new place and really enjoyed our home search. The chance to tour homes in cities across the country and to think we could potentially help a family like ours find their dream home really appealed to us both.” “Having worked with Jeff & Jordan in the past, I knew they would be the perfect pair to host this show,” Boylan also said in a statement to CNN. “They just bought their dream home and they know the feeling you get when you find the perfect place.” This is not the first show the couple have teamed up for aside from “Big Brother.” You may have also seen them on “Jeff & Jordan Do America,” “Reality Remix,” and “Survivor Live.” Their new show premieres April 17.

- This Influencer Mom Now Tunes Out Haters and Trusts Her Gut
As a new mother, it’s easy to feel like every decision you make is scrutinized; by family, friends, even strangers you encounter. For Jordan Lloyd, winner of the 11th season of Big Brother, this has been especially true. Her public rise to fame on the 24/7 recorded show has put her in the spotlight as a fierce competitor, and most recently, a mom. She’s learned to tune out negativity on social media, turn to those she trusts for advice, and have faith in her own instincts as she navigates motherhood. Because she and her husband Jeff met, fell in love, and eventually even got engaged on the show, fans and followers have felt invested in their story from the start. While most have been supportive, some have felt compelled to offer unsolicited advice - even judgment. “People had opinions on EVERYTHING!” Jordan recalls, laughing. “From feeding choices to baby names!” On good days, she says, it’s easy to brush off, but in difficult moments those words had more impact than she’d like to admit. Thankfully, she was able to lean on family, especially her mom and sister, whom she called daily in the first months of motherhood, for the support and encouragement she really needed. Over time, Jordan has learned to trust her instincts as a mother. “It’s so easy to look at other moms on social media and feel like they’re doing so much better than you, like they have it all together,” she says. “I just try to be open and honest and real.” For her, this meant sharing her struggle with and treatment for postpartum depression as well as breastfeeding frustrations with her boys, Lawson who’s 2 ½, and 8 month old Layton. Though she longed to breastfeed them both, she says, her body could never quite produce what they needed. When she began supplementing with formula, there were plenty of critics who questioned her decisions - even her efforts as a mother. “It helped me open my eyes and say, ‘I’m not going to pay attention to anything else around me, I’m not listening to comments on social media. I’m going to ask my mom and my sister, because I know they love me and aren’t going to judge me for the choices that I make.” Her experience has taught her how important it is to be unequivocally supportive of other mothers. “All you’re trying to do is be the best parent ever and care for your child,” she says. “You don’t need [negative] comments coming from everywhere else.” And while it might be tempting to keep her life, especially the messy, unfiltered moments, more private, Jordan knows the power of using her platform to lift others up, even if it opens her up to criticism: “The biggest compliment for me is ‘You make me feel so normal and you make motherhood feel so real.’” Receiving negative comments about parenting decisions is something that many moms can relate to. Jordan’s story of leaning on her circle during those tough times is the final feature in a series from the Similac Promises Project, a campaign that aims to promote positivity over judgment, and lifts up other parents instead of tearing them down. In order to create this community of support, we want to hear from you. Tag a friend and make your promise of support and solidarity to other parents on social media using hashtag #PromisesProject. Share your own journey and let other parents know you see and support them, because it could be just what they need to hear.

- Jeff Schroeder, Jordan Lloyd Open Up About Baby Lawson, Sleepless Nights & Their Parenting Instincts
US Weekly By Cara Sprunk November 28, 2016 Jeff Schroeder, Jordan Lloyd Open Up About Baby Lawson, Sleepless Nights and Their Parenting Instincts Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd are opening up in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly about their first few weeks as parents to Lawson Keith, who they welcomed October 13. As with a lot of new parents, the biggest adjustment for the Big Brother stars has been getting used to a newborn’s sleep schedule. “Jeff and I take shifts,” Lloyd, 30, explains. “Normally I go to bed early and then I’ll wake up at like 3 or 4 and then he goes to sleep and I take over. It’s getting better, though. He used to wake every two hours, on the dot. That kind of puts you on edge a little bit, losing sleep and things like that, but you’ve got to understand he’s just a little baby and he’s crying because he’s trying to tell you that he’s hungry or he needs his diaper changed. So you kind of have to be patient, and patience isn’t one of my best things throughout life.” Although Lloyd says “he cries all the time,” she is mostly unbothered by little Lawson’s wails. “You’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m so tired.’ And then he’ll smile at you and you’re just like, ‘Aw, OK,’” she says. After six weeks with their bundle of joy, Lloyd and Schroeder are figuring out what makes their infant happy, and perhaps more important, unhappy. “He doesn’t like a wet diaper! But he doesn’t mind if he sits longer in a poopy diaper,” Lloyd explains. Adds Schroeder, 38: “He likes to be clean! And he wants to be close to you at all times, which, I don’t know if that’s going to be a good thing growing up, but right now that’s how he is.” As far as likes go, the new parents agree that their son — who Lloyd says “looks like Jeff, I wanted him to look like Jeff!” — enjoys being outside for walks. While Lloyd admits to some “anxiety” about bringing a newborn home, the couple say that their parental instincts did kick in right away. “We were in the hospital for four days. You stay in the same room for four days and the nurse will be like, ‘I’m going to take him to go get a bath.’ And you’re like, ‘Well I’ll go with you, where are you taking him?’ And you have this, like, natural protective instinct even though you’re in a hospital and it’s all locked down and you’re like, ‘I better go with you to do that.’ It’s just a weird thing, like a protective animal or something,” Schroeder explains. “When Jeff and I went out our first night, like at dinner, we ended up just talking about Lawson,” Lloyd recalls. “And then after we had a few drinks, it was just like, ‘We need to get back home.’ The whole time we were like, ‘I feel bad for being out, I need to be home with him.’ And then you feel better when you see him and you’re home.” Schroeder and Lloyd, who have been together since 2009, found out they were expecting in late February, in the midst of wedding planning. At the time, Lloyd told Us the news threw them “through a loop.” The two were married in a courthouse ceremony in Beverly Hills March 15, 2016. For more on the couple, check out their YouTube channel, Jeff & Jordan TV, which has new episodes every Wednesday. - US Weekly - JEJO Gender Reveal
Big Brother's Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder Are Having a Boy By Cara Sprunk and Stephanie Webber June 8, 2016 Get the HOH onesie out! Big Brother's Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder are having a baby boy, the parents-to-be exclusively reveal to Us Weekly. Us broke the news in April that the fan-favorite couple are expecting their first child together — and that they married in secret. "We knew we weren’t going to wait until the baby came," Schroeder, 38, tells Us about finding out the gender. "We wanted to prepare, it’s our first kid and we're not anxious, [just] nervous. We don’t know what we’re doing!" "Last time we did the ultrasound, I made them look at the penis just to confirm!" Lloyd, 29, adds. "If it was our fourth kid, I think we could wait." Lloyd and Schroeder met on season 11 of the CBS reality show in 2009 and got engaged during season 16 in 2014. (The couple surprised the house's guests for the outside proposal.) The couple moved up their wedding date and exchanged vows at a courthouse on March 15 after they learned of Lloyd's pregnancy. "It definitely threw us through a loop, and we were kind of like, ‘Well, we need to figure this out, because the baby is going to be born October 20,’ and I don’t want to be walking down the aisle nine months pregnant, and my dress won’t fit," Lloyd previously told Us. "Next year we’ll have a wedding ceremony with all of our friends." Until then, the pair are gearing up for parenthood — and mulling over baby names that aren't too traditional. "I was 100 percent positive that I was having a girl. And I already had the name picked out," Lloyd tells Us. "I wasn’t excited at first [about having a boy], but then Jeff definitely put me in check. He goes, 'What are you upset? It’s a healthy baby!' … I just felt like I would bond a little bit better with a girl." Now Lloyd can't wait for their son to arrive. "I was talking to Jeff the other day and I was like, 'I’m going to put him in T-ball. I’m going to sign him up for things like that.'" Schroeder is ready for when that day comes. "I’m excited for when the baby starts walking and I can start playing," he gushes to Us. "I just want to do typical dad things like play sports with him and take him to the park, take him fishing. [I just want to] teach him things — take him to the ocean and teach him how to surf." - BB’s Jeff Schroeder Jokes About Jordan Lloyd’s Pregnancy Mood Swings: ‘I’m Walking on Eggshells!"
By Cara Sprunk and Stephanie Webber April 11, 2016 She's the HOH around here! Big Brother's Jordan Lloyd is embracing her pregnancy — and her mood swings. The reality star and her husband and former costar, Jeff Schroeder, joked in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly about what life has been like since finding out that they're expecting their first child. "I'm walking on eggshells over here. Jordan works a lot, that helps! I’m just kidding!" Schroeder, 37, tells Us. "The mood swings with the baby are tough. You see these old shows like Everybody Loves Raymond, [and] you start to remember different jokes that come to light about the wife," he continues. “We’re just like the typical couple where the husband better just shut his mouth if he doesn’t want to get in trouble, and the wife can say whatever she likes. I feel like I’m trapped in a sitcom. Other people are having fun with it, but I’m not." Last week, Schroeder and Lloyd, who met on season 11 of Big Brother in 2009, confirmed to Us exclusively that they are married and set to be first-time parents. The couple got engaged in September 2014 but decided to tie the knot in a court ceremony on March 15 when they learned that Lloyd was pregnant. "It was early in the morning, and she woke me up crying," Schroeder recalls to Us of when Lloyd, 29, took a pregnancy test. "I said, 'What’s wrong?' And she’s like, 'I think I’m pregnant.'
