Hi LC, I was just going thru old posts and saw where you lost your mother. Sorry to hear that...been there. I lost a friend a few yrs ago and I cannot get her out of my mind. I won't go into detail, but she was 30 years younger than I. she was my ex's 4th wife, but we became very close. I prayed so hard for her to live as she had melanoma cancer and went way too fast leaving an 11 yr old son. I still cry all the time, but I told her in our last meeting that I promised that every time I see the first star at night I would talk to her...I do still.
I don't know what religion you have, but mine is Catholic and we believe in guardian angels. I named mine Lew ...I talk to him all day as I live alone. He has answered my prayers and he does special favors for me. I kid you not. So when you are feeling lonely talk to yours out loud, name him or her. Watch how the answers come it will surprise you!
